CittaA wallet is required to rule — connect a Solana wallet (Phantom), or a demo wallet for this MVP. Then found your citadel: choose a world, a ruler and an advisor, and name your dynasty.
This is a management game, not a dialog. The Council bar along the bottom is your hands on the realm: RAISE the citadel when its works are funded, BUILD zones, hold a FESTIVAL to cut unrest, MUSTER the garrison for defense, and set the TAX rate. Nothing happens on its own — you act.
Your goal is to raise the citadel from a Palisade to the Eternal Citadel across 8 tiers. Each tier must be afforded — Materials and Gold accumulate over time — and earned. Click “Raise the Citadel” when it lights up. The full upgrade is a long climb: quick at first, a grind at the top.
Click a building on the map to manage its zone. Build it (Materials + Gold), then POST an officer for a steady per-turn bonus — Market → gold, Granary → food, Walls/Barracks → defense, Temple → calm — or DISPATCH one on a one-off mission. Officers are few, so every posting is a choice. Building a zone also opens its growth path.
Your population eats Food each turn. Build and man the Granary, or the people starve — population falls and unrest rises. A fed realm grows; a higher citadel holds more people. It is the hard constraint that shapes how fast you can expand.
Orcs periodically march on your walls (and you can summon one yourself with the test button). The advisor warns you; you MUSTER the garrison and raise Walls and Barracks before they strike. Lose, and you take damage — never an instant death.
The advisor, docked bottom-right, only ever NOTIFIES — posting tasks and warnings. He never decides anything. Every choice is yours, made with the Council tools.
A reign ends only at a sustained catastrophe — or in glory, when you raise the Eternal Citadel (a golden age). It is then scored and ranked S–D, and claimed once per wallet, ever: sell for $CITTA, or hold the whole chronicle as an NFT.
